After 44 years based in Western Massachusetts, Young@Heart has launched its first-ever satellite group in New York City.
Since September 2025, singers have been meeting weekly at the Abrons Art Center – part of the Henry Street Settlement on Manhattan’s Lower East Side – to build this exciting new chapter of the Young@Heart story.
For this special virtual show, the original Young@Heart will present songs inspired by, connected to, or written in New York City, including by Alicia Keys and Laura Nyro, while Y@H NYC brings an eclectic repertoire including music by Richard Hell and the Voidoids, Stevie Wonder, Lou Reed, Jelly Roll, and more.
The night will feature special video guest appearances from Paul Shaffer, Gloria Estefan, and Rachel Maddow.
